How you present your music in the Preliminary rounds is how you must continue if you are to go on to the Semi-Finals. This means that if you are a solo performer, you cannot suddenly have a band the night of the Final.
GUEST LIST AND FREE DRINKS:
There is no Guest list and there are no free drinks.
INSTRUMENTS:
A Grand Piano is at the WABE. There are no other instruments available. If you have a drummer, your drummer must bring his/her own backline. OR.. a drum set can be rented from the WABE for a small price.
Troubadour is strictly acoustic. There are no electronic instruments allowed. Your guitar must be hollow-bodied and is allowed a pick-up. Your bassist must play acoustic. No choruses, or effects of any kind are allowed. Drums are an acoustic instrument.
SOUNDCHECK:
Soundcheck starts at 18:00 Uhr (6:00 pm). Each musician has a maximal soundcheck of 15 minutes. Because we are tight with time, please tune your instrument before soundcheck and don't forget to bring extra strings and batteries for your pick-up.
