Struktur Übersicht

Eine Troubadour Staffel dauert neun Monate, sie beginnt im Oktober und endet im Juni. Es findet jeden Monat eine Show statt, bei der jeweils zwei Sieger gewählt werden. Daraus ergeben sich 12 Sieger, die in die zwei Halbfinale im April weiter kommen. Der Monat Mai wird der Vorbereitung des Finales im Juni gewidmet.

Die Show

Bei den Troubadour Veranstaltungen spielen 6 Künstler jeweils 2 Songs.

Dann entscheidet eine dreiköpfige Jury. Zwei der Jurymitglieder arbeiten professionell im Musikbusiness (sie werden an den jeweiligen Abendveranstaltungen bekannt gegeben), das dritte Jurymitglied ist das Publikum.

Structure Overview

A Troubadour season lasts nine months, starting in October and ending in June. There is one show a month. The top two writers at each preliminary round will move on to the Semi-Final in April. The resulting 12 Semi-Finalists move on to the Semi-Finals in April and the top six winners will move on to the Final in June. The month of May is devoted to the preparation for the final.

The Show

A Troubadour show consists of 6 artists who play 2 songs each.

There is a three-panel jury. Two of the panel are music professionals who live and work in the music business (these individuals will be introduced at the show), and the third member of the panel is the audience itself.
