Struktur Übersicht

Eine Troubadour Staffel dauert neun Monate, es beginnt im Oktober und im Juni endet. Es gibt ein Show jeden Monat. Zwei Sieger wird jeden Abend gewählt. Das Resultieren 12 Sieger geht zur Vorschlussrunde im April weiter. Der Monat des Mai wird der Vorbereitung des Finales im Juni gewidmet.

Die Show

Bei den Troubadour Veranstaltungen spielen 6 Künstler jeweils 2 Songs.

Dann entscheidet eine dreiköpfige Jury. Zwei der Jurymitglieder arbeiten professionell im Musikbusiness (sie werden an den jeweiligen Abendveranstaltungen bekannt gegeben), das dritte Jurymitglied ist das Publikum.

Nach Bekanntgabe der Platzierungen, spielt der 3. Platz einen weiteren Song. Der 2. Platz 2 weitere Songs und der 1. Platz darf 3 weitere Songs mit maximal 2 Zugaben spielen.

Structure Overview

A Troubadour season lasts nine months, beginning in the month of October and ending in June. The Preliminary rounds are from October-March. There is one show a month. The top two writers at each preliminary round will move on to the Semi-Final in April, resulting in 12 Semi-Finalists. The Semi-Finals are in April and the top six winners will move on to the Final in June. The month of May is devoted to the preparation for the final.

The Show

A Troubadour show consists of 6 artists who play 2 songs each.

There is a three-panel jury. Two of the panel are music professionals who live and work in the music business (these individuals will be introduced at the show), and the third member of the panel is the audience itself.

After the winners have been chosen, the 3rd place winner plays one more song, the 2nd place winner plays 2 more songs and the 1st place winner plays 3 more songs with a maximal encore of 2 songs.
