1). Here's the Skinny

Troubadour was developed as a tool to galvanize the Acoustic, Singer/Songwriter scene of Berlin. This tool is in the form of a competition that with each year gains a wider loyal fan-base, prizes, prize money, press and response from the Music Industry.

It is a passionate idea that is driven not only by me, but also with a growing team of Sponsors and Acoustic Music Lovers who donate their money, products, time and energy to make sure that your show goes well and that you're happy. Please keep that in your heart while playing Troubadour.

Being a competition, the desire to win is natural. I am the youngest of seven children and believe competition to be healthy (of course it all depends on your character and how you look at it). However, it is important to think differently about this particular "competition". Troubadour is about bringing people together and strengthing our musical community. If you don't win, it would be wonderful if you could cheer your colleagues on throughout the season.
